Collective Worship.

At St. Gabriel's we plan our Worship Themes in advance so that children are enlightened to many different aspects of the Christian Faith. Not only do we ensure that there is designated time to study our School Values but also themes such as The Trinity, Hope and Joy, Diversity and Taking Care of God's World. We aim to emphasise how important and special our worship times are and the significance they hold to the members of our school.

Links to our School Values:
Each class within the school is given a school value to not only focus on but to also strongly spread the message of to other children in school. During the school year each class will present a special service which focuses on their classes school value. Below is a list of the term in which each class will present their 'Class School Value Worship Time'. We will be happily inviting parents/carers along to these worships and your child's teacher will let you know of the exact times and dates closer to the time.

'Class School Value Worship Time':

Autumn 1 - Year 6 - Justice
Autumn 2 - Year 4 - Compassion
Spring 1 - Year 5 - Peace
Spring 2 - Year 3 - Koinonia
Summer 1 - Year 1 - Kindness
Summer 2 - Year 2 - Friendship

Our Praise Worship is an extremely special part of our school week. Every Friday 3 children are chosen from each class to win a special award. Two of the awards are 'Star Awards' and these are awarded to children who have shone in their class for excelleent work they have completed in their lessons. The third award is a 'Learning Warrior Award' and these are for the wonderful children who strive to achieve as much as they can and never give up, finding ways to be successful in their learning. We are very proud and excited to invite parents/carers to our Praise Worships each week so that they can share in the celebration of their child's achievement.

The images below are updated to show our successful Learning Stars and Learning Warriors.

Recently we watched a series of pictures from all around the world to help us think about the greatness of God's creation. In the background was the haunting melody 'What a wonderful world' sung by Louis Armstrong.

Below are some quotes about our wounderful Praise Worship that we have recieved from the family memebers who have attended.
